Dawn Gilliam of Calamar Receives YWCA Award

(November 21, 2019, Wheatfield, NY)  Dawn I Gilliam, C.O.O. of Calamar, a full-service real estate organization, has been awarded the “Management Award” from the YWCA of the Niagara Frontier.  Gilliam was recently recognized for her achievements in management at the “Tribute to Women” awards dinner. The YWCA annual event selects women from across Niagara County to acknowledge outstanding community leaders for their professional success and community involvement. 
 
Dawn has been an integral part of Calamar since its inception in 1990 serving as Chief Operating Officer.  Calamar is one of Western New York’s largest real estate organizations, which provides construction, development, property management and finance & investment services.  Dawn’s community involvement includes serving on the board for the National Federation for Just Communities, Leadership Niagara, Girl Scouts of W.N.Y. and the Wheatfield Local Development Corporation.   She is a past Who’s Who Among Executive Women award recipient, a 40 Under 40 award recipient as well as a past winner for the Everett W. Ockerman Award from Niagara University.
